Disney days are long and busy. And sometimes the logistics of getting from A to B can be really daunting. Disney offers a lot of great transportation options right on property that help you get between parks, from resorts, and with some careful planning from resort to resort. The Skyliner has a few stops: Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Disney’s newest resort, the Riviera Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation and Disney’s Pop Century. So this definitely makes getting between resorts much more efficient than taking multiple busses. But what’s so great about it?
- It’s Quick: The Skyliner is a fast option to get you where you are going. The line moves quickly and efficiently and the ride itself is fast.
- It’s Cool: Literally. The wind up there is lovely and comes through the cable cars. It’s actually quite relaxing to sit up there and cool off!
- Bird’s Eye View: You get to see the property in a whole new way! The size and scope of Disney itself is massive and seeing it from so high up is pretty awe-inspiring. You see some things you wouldn’t normally see and definitely get a whole new perspective
- Bonus Ride: I’m not ashamed to admit that I convinced my youngest that this was a fun ride for us, just like in the parks. We had a reservation to get to (have you tried Sebastian’s yet?), and simply ran out of time to do anything else at Hollywood Studios. We told my 3 year old that we still had one more ride, and he thought it was a blast!
I love the convenience and ease of taking the Skyliner and would definitely consider staying at one of the resorts on the line for our next trip. It’s quick, it’s clean and like I said, it’s cool!
