I learned some things struggling with a few trips. I hope my experiences and takeaways can help as you prepare for your next trip!
- With passports taking extra long to process you do not want your long awaited trip to be held up by passport logistics. Get your passport renewals in today!
2. Check your travel bag for expired sunscreen and medication. After a year of not touching my travel suitcase I needed to replace some medication and old sunscreen that was neglected after my travel hiatus.
Do Your research.
1. Make sure you know the hours for transportation and the new rules. Check out the restaurant hours and menus. Everything is a little different from the last time you traveled and a little research now will save you a big headache in the long run.
Start Planning Now.
1. Planning a trip is fun and having something to look forward to on the calendar is something that I missed. Start planning for next summer. Where do you want to go and start a dream board. Then take the next step and let us help you make that dream a reality for your family.
Be Flexible.
1. Things are changing at an hourly rate for some destinations. Things will likely change during the planning process and you should try to make the best of the situation. We have seen many great changes come out of this challenging time.
2. Also it helps if you have a travel agent to assist you in the ever changing details. We will help in so many areas and we can help turn your trip into a true vacation. Now more than ever you need a travel agent!
The good news is with several trips under my belt, traveling felt easier. I can’t wait for my next trip as I continue to get my travel rhythm back.
