On our recent trip to Universal Orlando Resort we were so excited to experience all that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter had to offer. The newest projection show was certainly no exception. I was blown away by this show and wanted to share some of my favorite parts with you!
As we were waiting on an attraction we began talking with one of the team members in the Wizarding World and she was telling us about this new Dark Arts show. Did you know that JK Rowling has made the request that Halloween never enter The Wizarding World? However, for the first time this year, they are allowed to celebrate the dark arts. Universal Orlando Resort has gone all out by not only developing an amazing projection show, but they took it a step further and have Death Eaters wondering the streets of Hogsmeade before and after the show takes place. Watch out as they have their wands at the ready and are not afraid to make some sparks if they or their Dark Lord feel threatened. The residents of Hogsmeade do not dignify them by calling them by name but rather simply refer to them as dark witches and wizards. They are truly terrifying so if you have small children it might be best to watch from a distance.

The show itself is a sight to see as well. The quality of the projections is phenomenal. As with all music from Harry Potter, I thoroughly enjoyed the soundtrack to this show. There are a few small fireworks that accompany this show. I was also very impressed with how the Universal team members handled crowd control between the two shows. We had a great view of the second show and only arrived a few minutes before it began. The show itself was not scary, in my opinion. And as in all battles in the Harry Potter series, good triumphs over evil.
This is a limited time attraction and only running through November 15, 2019. If you are truly a Harry Potter fan, this is something you will not want to miss!
