The NBA Experience is a massive venue that offers guests 13 unique experiences that let you live out your hoop dreams. First you’ll have a chance to pick your team and pick a nickname, all with your Magic Band! You’ll experience everything from the NBA Draft Combine to learning to dunk. There is lots of great memorabilia from every team, tons of history and interactive experiences. My personal favorite of this were the various features where you could compare yourself to an NBA Player. I saw how huge Stephen Curry’s hand is, placed my feet in Shaq’s size 23 footprints and compared my wingspan to Mohamed Bamba.
You’ll go through the whole process and learn drills, shooting, dribbling and even slam dunking (OK, maybe the hoop was a little lower than standard). There are even competitive games where everyone can get in on the action and basketball arcade games to keep everyone busy.
It’s not a stop at a Disney venue without tons of great shopping options! The NBA Experience has gear from every team in the league, Disney basketball items, the option to personalize and general basketball gear. It’s right in the heart of Disney Springs and is a great way to have some unexpected fun. Tickets are additional, but give you access to The NBA Experience all day!
