The Festival of the Holidays:
Epcot hosts 4 festivals a year, spanning several weeks (or months). Food, art, entertainment…it’s all there for you! The Festival of the Holidays runs from November 26 through December 30 this year and promises to bring the magic to your tour around the world. You’ll enjoy traditional holiday treats from all over the world, hear special music and have unique entertainment that you won’t find the rest of the year. Don’t miss the holiday Cookie Stroll!
The Parks:
Each park is transformed into a holiday wonderland. You’ll also find dedicated entertainment, flotillas, art, dining and night time shows. If you’re lucky, you may even spot a celebrity or two (I’m still not over seeing Pentatonix 2 years ago)!
Décor:
Have you ever watched the Disney holiday special about how they decorate the resort? It’s incredible knowing the amount of work, time and material that goes into it. Disney boasts over 1,300 decorated trees throughout the property, miles and miles of twinkling lights and garlands, spontaneous snow and even life sized creations like the Gingerbread House at the Grand Floridian. It’s sure to get anyone into the holiday spirit.
Holiday Gifts and Souvenirs:
This is a special time of year to get Disney holiday merchandise that you can’t find any other time! You’ll find your traditional ornaments and stockings, but you’ll also find ears, clothing, kitchen goods and gifts you won’t want to pass up!
Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll:
Don’t forget to head over to Disney Springs for a few hours or a day! Springs hosts dozens of thematically decorated trees that you can walk amongst and explore. You’ll also find special treats and merchandise, as well as snow and some other holidays treats!
Resort Hop:
I’m a big advocate of exploring as many resorts as you can on your Disney visit. Take some time and head over to as many resorts as you can to see them decked out in all of their glory! You’ll find resort themed seasonal decor, special treats, shopping and even unique restaurant options that you may not find elsewhere! Take a day and explore!
