Everyone wants to get the most out of their vacation days- and we want to help you do just that! Deciding what to do can be overwhelming, especially if your family is like mine: We love Walt Disney World, and Harry Potter. Can you do both? ABSOLUTELY!
While most people know what to expect at parks like Magic Kingdom and Epcot, many first time visitors are confused about what attractions are at which theme parks- especially when it comes to Hollywood Studios and Harry Potter.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando can only be found at Universal Orlando Resort. Here you’ll enter a magical world where the wands choose the wizards (or witches!) and you can perform spells, escape Gringotts, ride the Hogwarts Express, or visit the Leaky Cauldron for your very first Butterbeer. If you have a lover of Harry Potter in your family, you definitely won’t want to miss it!
If you plan to visit Universal Orlando primarily for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter you’ll want to be sure to purchase a 2-Park Park-to-Park Theme Park Ticket, as Hogsmeade is in Universal Islands of Adventure Park, and Diagon Alley is in Universal Studios Park with the Hogwarts Express running between the 2, a ride you can only experience with a Park-to-Park ticket. If your family are real thrill seekers, you may want to include 2 days at Universal Orlando Resort to allow time to ride all of the amazing rides Universal Orlando has to offer!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort is undergoing massive renovations to include Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, which will open in late 2019. Toy Story Land, home to rides like Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirling Saucers and Toy Story Mania was opened in the summer of 2018. Hollywood Studios is also home to your favorite Disney Jr characters, Hollywood Tower of Terror, and some of our favorite live shows like Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!
At each and every theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort, you will experience the magic that keeps families coming back. From classic rides like It’s A Small World, to all new thrills like Avatar: Flight of passage, and meeting your favorite characters along the way! Your experience at the Walt Disney World Resort is one your family is sure to remember forever.
We’d love to help your family experience all of the magic that Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World can offer, and tailor your trip to help your family make the most of each day. Your Travel Advisor would love to work with you and your family to plan a trip that includes everything you are looking for!
