I have so many people telling me they want to wait to visit Disney World when
Star Wars Land opens. Hopefully this will help you make a decision if it’s best for your family to wait or go before the new “Land”.
STAR WARS
Galaxy’s Edge is set to open at Hollywood Studios in “Late Fall 2019” but that means it could open as late as December 20th! If you’re looking to go exclusively for Star Wars Land, I would wait until 2020 to be safe. So, Why visit before Star Wars Land opens?
The good news is that there is plenty for Jedi-lovers to experience at Hollywood Studios (and some great discounts) before then.
- Meet and Greet Opportunities: Some of your favorite Star Wars characters such as Chewy Chewbacca, Kylo Ren & BB8 at Star Wars: Launch Bay in animation courtyard.
- Rides: Star Tours – the Adventure Continues is a 3D, motion-simulated space flight that is fun for the whole family!
- Live Performances and Shows: Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away is a live show featuring some of your favorite scenes and actual character performances! - Nighttime Entertainment: Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular is a phenomenal nighttime show you won’t want to miss! Get there early and find a great spot without obstruction of nearby trees. Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party is a separately ticketed event with prime reserved seating for the show with out of this world Star Wars themed desserts
- Shopping: Loads of Star Wars merchandise is available throughout the park. You can even make your own custom light saber!
TOY STORY LAND
Bring out your inner-kid as you play in Andy’s backyard and relive your childhood favorites with Woody and Buzz!
