Costa Rica is known as one of the happiest countries in the world because of this. They live a very stress free, peaceful, simple lives and are thankful for everything they have. They have a huge appreciation for nature, family and friends and love to share it with everyone who visits their beautiful country. This makes Costa Rica a wonderful place to vacation and to get away from the busy life.
The climate in Costa Rica is very mild all year round which makes it a great place to visit anytime. This breathtaking tropical destination is full of sandy beaches, lush vegetation, jungles, mountains and even active volcanoes. You can look out your resort window and see everything from beautiful tropical birds to monkeys swinging in the trees. Costa Rica has long coastlines on both the Atlantic and Pacific ocean as well as many rivers and streams which offers so many great activities to experience.
One of my most favorite activities in Costa Rica was ziplining through the jungle, over water and past waterfalls. I love adventure and adrenaline rushes and the spectacular views you get while ziplining. Another fun, unique and relaxing activity is going to a natural hot springs. With 5 active volcanoes there are so many hot springs to enjoy. There are even resorts with their own hot springs on property. The volcanic mud baths are pretty spectacular too! Water activities are abundant from snorkeling and scuba diving to white water rafting, surfing and fishing, there is something for everyone in Costa Rica.
