You have your plan for your Walt Disney World trip that you have spent months tweaking and refining and now it’s starting to rain! Florida has some fast moving storms so don’t panic. Head inside and catch a show, grab a snack, more than likely the storm will pass. The crowds will thin out and you can continue on your day!
We had a day where the storms were not going away so we decided to embrace the rain! We changed our plans entirely and headed to Animal Kingdom’s Kilimanjaro Safari. With all the trees and foliage we weren’t getting wet in the rain and it was an exciting adventure . We even ran into some friendly animals along the way!
The rain continued and we enjoyed the best safari . We had never seen the animals so alert and active. The rain was a welcome reprieve from the Florida heat while we were dry in our safari vehicle.
We caught two amazing shows, Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo the Musical and that kept us dry until the storms finally passed. With a little change of plan and attitude we had a wonderful adventure!
