We love sharing tips for getting great pictures of your family on vacation- and when you visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge there are quite a few spots you won’t want to miss!

Here are some of our favorites:

1. In the Resistance area (near where Rise of the Resistance will be when it opens):The Resistance Map- this is actually at the entrance to the ride queue, so it may not be a real option after the ride opens, but right now you can walk behind this cool map and take pictures as you point out ‘secret’ locations!

2. The X-Wing- not only is this where you’ll often find Chewbacca, but it’s also the location of secret hologram pictures available with Disney’s PhotoPass photos! Be sure to ask for the hologram of the porg, or if there are any x-wings flying nearby for some of the coolest pictures ever!

3. The giant doors- these doors are actually functional doors allowing vehicles and cast members in and out, but they’re also the perfect place to grab cool pictures! Stand back a fair distance from these to get the best pictures- the doors are enormous!

4. In the market and near the Millenium Falcon:
Millenium Falcon- this one is a must, and has become one of the most iconic pictures you can take in all of Galaxy’s Edge! Don’t miss your chance to come back in the evening and take a picture with the ship lit up as well!

5. In the queue for Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run- there are a few fun places to grab photos in the line. The most popular being at the Chess Table right before you enter the ride, but there are all sorts of fun switches and levers you’ll come across in line that you’ll definitely want to try out! We also really love the pictures right before entering the ride itself!

6. The blue stripe wall- this wall is right outside The Droid Depot.

7. On the Speeder Bike- while there are many ships to look at throughout Galaxy’s Edge, this is the only one you can actually sit on! You’ll find it right outside of Savi’s Handbuilt Light Sabers, usually tucked behind the line of people waiting to go in, but there was hardly ever a line to get onto the bike!

8. Up the steps- outside of Oga’s Cantina, you’ll find these steps leading up to (presumably) the living spaces above. I sat on the ground and grabbed a few cool pics!

9. The first order banner- I have a few cool pics of my kiddos here, but my favorites are of the fireworks overhead!

10. All of the doorways- each door is unique, and as you make your way around Batuu you’ll want to stop and look closely at them all! Not only do they offer cool photo spots, but they are also often included spots on the Play Disney Parks app! Be sure to grab a quick picture before scan your next code and collecting everything you can to earn points!
