My family has a serious case of wanderlust. We want to see the world and go back to visit our favorite places. Covid certainly put a damper on our travel plans, and with things being so uncertain, we don’t know yet when we’ll be able to get out and explore again.
We are fortunate enough to have in-person school full time, but along with that comes rules we have to follow for the safety of the whole community. Due to changing restrictions, traveling too far (and going on a plane) is not a safe option for us, as we would be required to quarantine upon return. It’s not realistic. But that isn’t stopping us from exploring, just a bit closer to home.
Living in Texas, it’s easy to get out and visit other states. We’ve taken some day trips and a few overnights just to break up the monotony of our new normal. We’ve also planned a few weekend getaways for our family. It’s certainly not as exciting as exploring Disney World or visiting Europe, but for now it works.
The best part about planning a staycation is that you don’t have to do any of the work, other than packing your bags and hitting the road. Our team can book hotels and houses all over the world and have great ideas for places to discover close to home. So, why not plan a weekend away without going to far? We’ve got your back!
