It’s never to early to plan for Christmas presents or getting ready for your next big vacation. So, I put together a little list of my FAVORITE THINGS!
Starting from the top:
- Blanket Scarf- perfect for ANY climate. I wear this on the plane during travel to use as a blanket, a face mask, or just a cute accessory. It rained a bit when we were in Ireland and I used it to cover my head as well. Bonus, it can be used YEAR ROUND. Not just when you are traveling.
- Kindle (or any books)- I personally prefer the feel of an actual book to read… but they take up too much room and are too heavy to lug around the world. Plus, a kindle can hold thousands of books for those longer journeys.
- Great Carry On Luggage- We prefer Penguin brand… but the other ladies at Whitney World Travel swear by Away Luggage. I may have to ask for Away for Christmas so I can adequately compare. Away luggage also comes with a built-in power bank to charge your phone. How nifty!
- Trtl Pillow- My husband LOVES his Trtl travel pillow. I actually prefer the Infinity Pillow which looks like a puffy infinity scarf, but it does take up some room, which is not as great. Trtl has great reviews and again, my husband approves of it.
- Power Bank- Could there be anything worse than having a dead cell phone when you are trying to take a selfie at the Colosseum in Rome? What happens if you are driving the very narrow roads of Ireland without a paper map and your cell phone dies? A power bank is a MUST.
- PACKING CUBES- I am obsessed with packing cubes. I am also obsessed with only using carry on bags for trips. My husband does not share my affinity for the puzzle of packing 2 weeks of clothing for two people in 2 carry on bags. I love packing cubes so much, I use them for weekend trips as well. They keep your clothes organized and WRINKLE FREE. Plus, I never have to completely unpack, I simply drop my cube in a drawer to use throughout the trip.
- Souvenirs- What do you bring back from your travels? We collect Christmas Ornaments and love to think back on our travels during the holidays… but this adorable key chain is chic, sleek, and simple. You simply add a token to the ring for each location you have traveled to. How cute is that?!?
