Disney just announced that for the first time Disney California Adventure (DCA) will play host to some frightfully fun play during the Halloween season. On select nights in September and October guests can be a part of Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party.
This is a separate ticket event that grants you admission to the party, which starts at 6 pm PST, and admission to DCA up to 4 hours prior to the start of the party (Sunday nights and Oct. 29 and 31 are four hours while all other party nights are 3 hours prior).
This party will take place on the following nights:
Sept. 17, Sept. 19, Sept. 22, Sept. 24, Sept. 26, Sept. 29, Oct. 1, Oct. 3, Oct. 6, Oct. 8, Oct. 10, Oct. 13, Oct. 15, Oct. 17, Oct. 20, Oct. 22, Oct. 24, Oct. 27, Oct. 29 and Oct. 31
What will be included in your ticket? There are some familiar favorites from years past such as Trick or Treat trails, “Frightfully Fun Parade”, and special character meet and greets that will be part of this new event. However, Disney has also announced some new and exciting fun coming this year. These include:
- “Villainous!” – This is the special “World of Color” show that was created just for Halloween time at Disneyland.
- The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail will be transformed into a whole new world full of villainous scenes.
- DescenDance – This will be a dance party inspired the popular series of Disney Channel Original Movies “Descendants.”
- A new stage show called “Mickey’s Trick and Treat Show” will debut this year. This show is perfect for kids( and kids at heart) of all ages!
Tickets for this event open April 23, 2019 for Disneyland Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club members, and Disney Visa cardholders. Tickets open to the general public on April 30.
