I love Epcot for a whole lot of reasons (FOOOOOOOODDDDD), but one of the biggest reasons is that there are great festivals held throughout the year. Walt Disney World has four signature festivals, part of their amazing series of special events, that each offer something special for everyone.
Festival of the Arts
Disney’s Festival of the Arts takes place early in the year and celebrates all things art-visual, performance and culinary. Special food booths boast treats with an artistic theme that are creative and inspired. There are even fun kids treats that encourage them to get creative and play with their foods. Food really is art! There is also a spectacular concert series boasting Disney Broadway tunes and interactive art around every corner. Guests can immerse themselves in the arts by helping paint a mural, take advantage of their Memory Maker with fun frames and special shots and even artists showcasing their wares-both Disney themed and not!
Flower and Garden Festival
The Flower and Garden Festival is in spring and turns Epcot into a gorgeous display of flowers, topiaries and incredible plants you won’t see anywhere else. Everything from a bush carved as your favorite character to a huge Mickey head laid out in flowers can be found at Flower and Garden Festival. There is also a concert series and (of course), specially themed foods to satisfy every palate.
Food & Wine Festival
Food & Wine Festival is my favorite and can be enjoyed in the late summer/early fall. This festival does exactly as it’s name suggests-celebrates food and wine from all over the world! Enjoy special tastes and sips from all around the world and the country. Get a passport and try to fill up your book with stickers as you try it all.
Festival of the Holidays
Disney’s Festival of the Holidays is in late fall/early winter coinciding with the December holidays. Holiday traditions from around the world are celebrated with stories, decor, musical productions, shows, and the famous Candlelight Processional which tells the story of Christmas (narrated by a celebrity). Of course there are special themed food options, but the cookie crawl is not to be missed!
So we have to know, which Festival can we send you to this year?
