One of my favorite parts of visiting the Universal Orlando Resort is that everything is very conveniently located. Once you check in you do not have to leave the area to get the most from you vacation. One area that I like is CityWalk, the dining and entertainment district located between both parks and within walking distance to you’re on site resorts.
Universal CityWalk is over 30 acres and is most known for the nightly entertainment. CityWalk also has lots of shops and entertainment for the whole family. When you park in the self-parking garage there is a bridge that takes you right into the heart of CityWalk.
My favorite is the Hollywood Drive in Miniature golf, it has thirty-six of the most colorful and unique holes set to B theme movies. The monsters are really cool.
There are plenty of places to eat from counter service, like Cinnibon or Ben Jerry’s for something sweet. One of my favorite counter service places is the Hot Dog Hall of Fame; they have all kinds of hot dogs from the Coney dog to the Chicago style dog.
City Walk is a great place for you to visit outside of the parks. Not just for shopping but for great restaurants and entertainment as well.
