On my recent girls’ trip to Walt Disney World (yes, you need to take a girls trip), my friend and I enjoyed a night at Caribbean Beach before the rest of our group arrived and we switched resorts. I loved the vibe at Caribbean Beach and can’t wait to stay there again, but one of the biggest standouts to me was our dinner at Sebastian’s Bistro! I didn’t really know what to expect since it’s a bit newer, but was so pleasantly surprised by our meal!

There are very subtle nods to Disney throughout the restaurant, but it’s beachy, bright and cheerful without being too overly themey. I felt like I was at a local beachside restaurant at an island resort, not in the middle of Disney World! There were gorgeous chandeliers, fun decor pieces and great artwork paying homage to the islands.
We decided to get different things so we could enjoy a little bit of everything. For appetizers we chose the conch fritters and crab cake. I can be a bit weird about seafood (I hate when it’s too fishy), but thought they were both spot on! The crab cake was loaded with crab meat and no filler. The spice was spot on and it was packed with flavor. The conch fritters reminded me of the conch fritters I ate daily when I was in Nassau. Not too greasy, and packed with flavor. We inhaled our appetizers!

For dinner, we chose the slow-cooked pork shoulder and the jerk chicken. Both were plentiful and jam packed with flavor. The sides were perfect with the meals and they were beautifully presented. To me, the best part were the portion sizes. They were just right-plenty of food but I didn’t feel like I was wasting.
Finally, dessert! We went with the banoffee tart and Mile Marker Zero (key lime pie pops covered in chocolate). While I loved the banoffee tart, the key lime pie pops blew me away! They were tart and creamy with a little bit of salt and just the right amount of chocolate. Plus, they were so fun to eat! It was a creative way to serve pie, without being over the top. And seriously, delicious.

Dinner at Sebastian’s was the perfect way to start our trip. I can’t wait to go back and try even more from the menu! Bring on the flavor!
